Achraf Hakimi is a Moroccan professional footballer, who also plays for Paris Saint – Germain, a French club in Paris.
Hakimi was born in Madrid, Spain, to Moroccan parents Hasan Hakimi (father) and Saida Mouh (mother) on 4 November 1998.
His football career started when he was seven years old. During that time, Hakimi joined Colonia Ofigevi, a football team in Getafe.
From Colonia Ofigevi, he later joined Real Madrid Youth Academy at the age of eight. Later he began playing for Real Madrid Castilla in 2016 as a teenager.
However, in 2017, he got promoted to the first team but was later sent on a two years loan to Borussia Dortmund.
Following a successful loan, Hakimi sign a €40 million transfer deal to Inter Milan, a Serie A league. With a successful campaign which helped the club win League whole ending the club’s eleven-year league title drought.

In the 2016 International Championship Cup, Hakimi made his debut for Real Madrid in a 3-1 loss to Paris Saint Germain. He later made his senior debut on August 20th, 2016, starting in a 3-2 Segunda Division B home win against Real Sociedad B. On September 25th, 2016, he scored his first senior goal in a 1-1 draw against Fuenlabrada. He was promoted to the main squad on August 19th, 2017 and assigned the number 19 jersey.

During the group stage of the Champions League in October 2019, Hakimi made his debut for Dortmund and scored two goals against Slavia Prague.
A transfer deal worth approximately €40 million brought Hakimi to Serie A club Inter Milan, where he signed a five-year contract on July 2nd, 2020.
