Hon. Anthony Duke, a former councillor in Calabar south local government of Cross River State has been kidnapped.
Hon. Duke according to our sources was kidnapped along Akwanga road in Nasarawa state while on his way to Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Duke was said to have left Calabar to Abuja in a private vehicle where the unfortunate incident happened yesterday evening.
It is suspected that he may have been kidnapped by the Fulani bandits. His abductors are yet to establish contacts with his family members as at press time.
Hon. Duke, a member of the PDP is also the CEO, Calabar Blue Marathon.
