FOR APPOINTIVE POSITIONS:
NO ONE has been appointed as a Commissioner in the State. Not even in the Boards or Agencies.
NO ONE has been appointed as a Director General or even as a Chairman of a Board or parastatal.

It is confirmed from the picture above that Ward 8 has been extremely deprived.

It is also worthy of note that Ward 8 has the Highest Number of Polling Units in Calabar Municipality.
The Ward also has The Highest Number of Registered Voters in Calabar Municipality.

However, in spite of this injustice meted on the Ward, the Ward has been delivering successfully in every elections no matter how tough or competitive the election is. Records are there to confirm.

In view of this unfortunate situation, we strongly appeal to the leadership of our great Party, to compassionately consider Ward 8 by micro zoning the position of the House of Assembly in Calabar Municipality to our Ward, for equity, fairness, justice, and good conscience, especially now that our party is going to face a serious competition in the 2023 general elections.
