A Path to Eligibility
Gaining eligibility for the coveted creator ads revenue sharing privilege requires a few key milestones:
- Being subscribed to Blue or Verified Organizations.
- Accumulating a minimum of 15 million organic impressions across your collective posts within the last three months.
- Boasting a follower count of at least 500.
Preparing for Your Revenue Journey
As you march toward eligibility, there are a few essentials you’ll need to have in your arsenal:
- An active Stripe account, as we’ve chosen to partner with Stripe, our trusted payment processor, for streamlined and secure payouts.
- Strict adherence to our Ads Revenue Share Terms, encompassing crucial facets like Creator Monetization Standards and the X Rules.
Seamless Access to Revenue Sharing
Our paramount aim is to ensure a seamless experience for you. Therefore, all eligible X Blue and Verified Organizations subscribers are automatically entitled to participate in revenue sharing, contingent upon meeting the established eligibility criteria and completing the enrollment process.

A Pledge to Uphold
While all qualifying users have the option to partake, it’s imperative to note that any breach of the Ads Revenue Share Terms – encompassing critical aspects like Creator Monetization Standards and the X Rules – could potentially lead to exclusion from the program.
Navigating the Path to Profit
Here’s a glimpse of how you’ll journey through setting up Ads Revenue Sharing:
- Eligible users can seamlessly join and configure payouts within the Monetization section, accessible through the side menu on iOS and Android, and the overflow menu on web platforms.
- Upon selecting “Join and setup payouts,” you’ll be smoothly redirected to our esteemed payment processor, Stripe, to establish an account for receiving your entitled share.
- Your designated Stripe account will serve as the conduit for transferring funds to your external bank account.
- Opting into the program grants you regular, scheduled payouts, provided your earnings exceed the $50 USD benchmark. It’s noteworthy that X reserves the prerogative to modify or terminate the Program at its discretion, encompassing business, financial, or legal considerations. Participation in the ads revenue share program is also subject to X’s acceptance or retraction, determined by its own discernment and aligned with business, financial, or legal imperatives. Do ensure unwavering compliance with the Ads Revenue Program Terms.
- If you decide to withdraw from the ads revenue sharing program, a simple communication to X Paid Support will suffice to indicate your preference for halting payouts.
- In the event you receive notice that your payouts have been temporarily suspended due to account scrutiny, rest assured that an avenue for appeal exists.
- Throughout the period of review, your account will continue accruing revenue. This also extends to accounts under suspension.
- Every participant holds the right to appeal if their account comes under scrutiny.
- You’ll have a 30-day window to mount an appeal, facilitated through correspondence with X. Present compelling evidence within your response to the email we forward, showcasing why your program participation should be reinstated.
- Inaction during the 30-day appeal timeframe, or a rejected appeal, results in ineligibility to rejoin the Program.
Charting a Course Through Adversity
In scenarios where your account experiences a pause during the program, rest assured that avenues for appeal are open:
- Notification of a pause in payouts due to a breach of terms and/or policies will trigger an opportunity to appeal.
- Your account will continue accruing revenue as you await a conclusive decision. This extends to accounts under suspension as well.
- Appeal rights extend to all participants affected by account flags.
- During a 30-day window, compose a comprehensive appeal, responding to the email we dispatch, furnishing substantial evidence supporting your case for program reinstatement.
- Failure to launch an appeal within the stipulated 30-day period, ora rejected appeal, culminates in ineligibility to resume participation in the Program.
