The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) announced a new template for fuel price in Nigeria.
This is as the NNPCL jerked up pump prices of Premium Motor Spirit by over 200 per cent to between N488 and N557 per litre.
The new price template purportedly sent to oil marketers by the NNPCL management and seen by Daily Report Nigeria, ordered for the new price template to be effected from May 31.
The template indicated From for fuel to sell price for N488 per litre in Lagos, while Maiduguri and Damaturu have the highest pump prices of N577 per litre.
Meanwhile, the new fuel price template is applicable only to NNPCL retail outlets.
