WEST ROGERS PARK — Police probing a homicide found a different victim dead inside a West Rogers Park apartment over the weekend, officials said.
At 5:15 p.m. Saturday, officers were carrying out a search warrant for an unrelated homicide in the 6100 block of North Campbell Street when they discovered an unidentified woman’s body, police said.
CWBChicago reported the woman’s body was found inside the home’s refrigerator. Asked about that, a police spokesperson said they had no information about where the woman’s body was discovered.
The woman died from multiple injuries in an assault, and her death was ruled a homicide, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Officer said. Authorities had not identified her as of Wednesday.
No suspects were charged in the homicide as of Wednesday morning.
