Sarkodie Opens Up About Yvonne Nelson’s Allegations of Forced Pregnancy Termination in Revealing Video

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has finally addressed the allegations made by actress Yvonne Nelson, in which she claimed that he coerced her into terminating a pregnancy. In a video released recently, Sarkodie spoke out about the issue.

In her memoir, “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson,” the 37-year-old actress revealed that she believed Sarkodie impregnated her in 2010 but allegedly declined to take responsibility for their unborn child. As a result, she felt compelled to undergo an abortion.

In the chapter titled “He said no” in her memoir, Yvonne Nelson wrote that according to her, the 37-year-old musician refused to acknowledge the pregnancy due to the presence of another woman in his life.

“I wasn’t the only one responsible for the situation, so I called the man whose potent seed had germinated in me. His name is Michael Owusu Addo, a renowned Ghanaian musician who is better known as Sarkodie”. ICYMI, read here.

In a recent development, Sarkodie has responded to Yvonne Nelson’s allegation by releasing a diss track titled “Try Me.” In the song, the musician shared his side of the story, stating that he advised Yvonne to keep the pregnancy despite not being financially prepared at the time. However, Yvonne claimed that she couldn’t continue with the pregnancy as she was still pursuing her education.

Sarkodie went on to accuse Yvonne of promiscuity, referring to her as a “hoe” who engaged in sexual activities with multiple men and performed oral sex on different individuals. He challenged her to share her full story but also expressed his hopes that she finds the healing she needs, as she appears to still be carrying some emotional pain.

Sarkodie said,

“I never thought I was going on this wave, cause I was ready to take a couple of things to my grave. First of all, let me clap for you baby you are brave but you can’t pick and choose what to say pls behave, nobody sent you so Ohemaa if you want to talk, you have to tell the world every n*gga that you f*cked.

He continues that ” I am not going to sit here and lie we had a thing, first I thought we were cool till I had a hint … You told me you were pregnant and I was the one to be blamed … yes I wasn’t ready but I told you to keep it and you explained that you have to complete your school”.
